Club closures/ calender update for December 2024

November 29th, 2024

Club will be closed on Dec. 6th Friday and 7th Saturday for December lights at Balboa park. December 24th to Jan 2nd club will be closed for floor resurfacing. The first 150 people that renew their 2025 mebership in January will receive one pack of Nittaku 3 star balls. Please pay on line and get your cards at the club.

SDTTA Board elections are soon approaching. The board has FOUR positions which are up for election and there are currently SIX candidates as follows; Ruben Guilloty, Javid Khazaeli, Salam Semaan, Patty Wasserman Martinez, Pejman Adhami, and George Pisa.

Club members may cast their ballot at the club on the following dates:

Saturday, Nov 2 (11-1:00) (Nancy Huynh will be collecting ballots)

Monday, Nov 4 (4-6:00) (Patrick Kilian will be collecting ballots)

Thursday, Nov 7 (5:30-8) (Jaxon Farris will be collecting ballots)

Sunday, Nov 10 (10:00-12:00) (Jaxon Farris will be collecting ballots)

Patty Martinez has been on our board serving as Vice Chairman since 2003. She has made several generous donations to our club and has been instrumental to our club. She was part of our campaign to save our gym from being a shelter . She has won many trophies and medals throughout her table tennis career. Last week she was inducted in the US hall of fame 2024. She is out of the country with no internet access but is very interested in continuing her great job as board member.
