Entry Deadline: May 1st, 2014. This is a real deadline.
Tournament Format:
- All matches are best of 5 games except for the Open Singles Semifinals & Finals. The Semis & Finals of the Open will be best of 7 games.
- Players may not enter multiple events with identical start times.
- Must meet any age requirements by May 3rd.
- No prizes will be awarded for splits, dumps, default losses, or no shows.
- Tournament committee reserves the right to modify or cancel events if there are insufficient entries.
- There is a 2000 rating limit per player in Under 3200 Doubles, and 2300 rating limit per player in under 4200 Doubles.
- Players over 2400 have free entries.

I want to thank
David Kim for bringing in tools and beginning to fix some of our table problems. It is great to have members participating in the betterment of the club. I hope others will also step forward in making SDTTA a great club.
This
June 22, 2013 on Saturday we will have the annual
Pot-luck Picnic. Plan to attend and bring a favorite food. The club will bring other refreshments.
On
October 26-27 we will have the 2nd Annual
Neil Smyth Tournament, a USATT sanctioned event. Mark your calendars and get your game ready.
The
Friendship Team Tournament will be held at the SDTTA on
Saturday April 13th, 2013. The participants will be: the SDTTA,
Ensenada, and
Spin Garden. Rows 2, 3 & 4 will be reserved for tournament play, so Open Play will be limited. Come check out the action!
This Thursday, there is a very special tournament happening right here in San Diego! The Mike Dempsey Memorial Table Tennis Tournament kicks off it’s opening ceremonies at the Grand Exhibit Hall at the Town and Country Resort Hotel this Wednesday @ 7pm (FREE admission) with competition happening Thursday through Saturday. I am going to conduct a doubles tournament on Friday, November 30th for teams based on club ratings for under 3400 doubles. If you have no rating, I will determine your rating and can help people find partners. The tournament will start at 5:30pm.
