Alternate Locations
With many upcoming closures, the SDTTA would like to suggest alternate places for our members to play in various parts of San Diego. Check this page often for updates. If there’s a place you know of that isn’t on this list: post the 1) name of the location, 2) the address and 3) the daily hours as a comment. The webmaster will then add it to this list for easy reading.

Would be nice if we know how many table are there in these places. Too few a table would be a big problem driving all the way down there and just wait for your turn.
Thanks,
Tat
To all players,
Please be patient and considerate while playing at Mira Rec Center due to # of players who wants to play. Please limit your practice as some players got agitated while waiting.

@Tat Wai
You can call.
I would like to know if there is a public-access table-tennis center in the vicinity of Fallbrook/Bonsall. I am a new resident of Fallbrook (moved here 6 months ago) and have been playing table tennis since boyhood. I would say I am a proficient player.
Thanks for a response.

@John Schechter
Hi John:
I personally don’t know of anything near Fallbrook, Bonsall. There are several excellent players in Vista. One of them being Tom Alt (760) 598-7027. He has a table at his house. You might want to give him a call.

There are several tables in South bay; how come they are not available?
@John Schechter
How can I contact to you.
I would like to contact to John Schechter.
Does anyone know of a place to play near Oceanside/Fallbrook/Vista?
Repeat of Ivan’s question : It would be great to have a place to play in north county near Oceanside/Vista/San Marcos/Escondido. Anyone know of any? I’ve searched and no luck so far. None of the community centers here have TT tables, I think..
Okay… anywhere in Temecula?
Does anyone know if there is a place to play TT in the College area?
So I showed up at Carmel Valley Rec Center every day last week and no one showed up. I guess no one plays there! Contact me if anyone wants to play there.
Hello Ivan, I just moved to San Diego. I know your comment was made a year earlier. Wonder if you are still interested in playing at Carmel Valley Rec Center.
My rating is around 525, email me if you want to play at anywhere in SD or Del Mar: sandiegokevinross@gmail.com.
@Jerry re place to play in College area: SDSU (Aztec Recreation Center) — when I was a student there ~2005 there was at least one table that would often be set up outdoors, just outside the bottom level of ARC (where the bowling alley is). I didn’t play then so I don’t know the details but it seemed to be free to use, maybe whenever ARC was open and maybe check-outable only by ARC members.
Also, a bit west of there, Triple Crown Pub in Normal Heights has 2 tables (one inside, one outside), no cost to play.
